Riots have claimed at least 21 lives so far.

The man who was hit by a statue torn down by BLM protesters in Portsmouth, Virginia is now in a coma after having his head split open by the falling monument.

Black Lives Matter demonstrators used bolt cutters, hammers, and other objects to smash the Confederate statue, beheading four of the soldiers surrounding the monument last night.

However, when one of the soldiers was torn down, it fell on one of the protesters, who was later named as Chris Greene.

Wednesday evening, a member of the vandal horde was seriously injured — he is hospitalized, and I’m astonished he’s still alive — after a statue on the Portsmouth monument was toppled onto his head. His name is Chris Green, and his wife said he flatlined twice en route to the hospital, where doctors put him into a coma to save his life: ...

 There had been a protest at the monument during Wednesday afternoon, and the city council convened an emergency session to discuss removing the monument. They scheduled a public hearing, which is required to approve any action of the council, but meanwhile the police were told to stand down as the protest turned to vandalism:

If I didn't think he would take it as a compliment.....

I would draw some comparisons between idiots like him tearing down historic US statues... to ISIS tearing down and destroying middle eastern historic sites and statues.   It's the same mindless, evil chaos.   And it needs to be stopped yesterday.

Well, the protester in Buffalo who was allegedly pushed to the ground by the police is in his 70s.  He didn't grow up either.

Plenty of older folks still stuck in the 1960s.  I know one of them personally.  We used to be really close.  I still am fond of her, but she stayed in one place and I moved on to the real world.  Nothing really in common anymore.

Gee,it would be a damn shame if he died and everybody filmed on the statute at that time were charged with manslaughter,wouldn't it?

I was working in the body shop of the Cadillac dealer in Portsmouth,Va in the early 70's,and vaguely remember a story about two black "youts" who walked up behind a white sailor standing at a bus stop waiting for a bus,hit him back of the head,and then stomped him to death as he lay on the sidewalk.

I remember reading in the paper and seeing on the evening news that their NAACP lawyer stood up in court and tried to justify the murder in the eyes of the jury,many of whom were black,by saying something VERY close to "Show these young men mercy. They didn't know what they were doing because they were blinded by rage because they could feel the whips of the victims ancestors on the backs of their ancestors".

I don't think I ever heard the sentence,because I was more into chasing women and partying than I was teebee news at the time,but I wouldn't be surprised if they got reduced sentences.

Keep in mind,this was the early 1970's,and this crap is still going to today.
