@skeeter @dfwgator He was a problem child,but still the hope of the Bush Crime Family to remain relevant and powerful in the 21st Century. I suspect Babs had Jebbie marry Mexican to make sure this happened.
Anyhow,even Poppy Bush referred to him as something like "my little brown grandbaby". The Bush Crime Family sent him to the best schools they could buy him a desk in,and the first reported trouble I remember was when he was in law school,and his trophy blonde walked away from the engagement. He didn't handle it well. IIRC,he was arrested for stalking her,and later breaking into her apartment when she wasn't home and doing something I can't remember.
His trophy blonde trouble made all the papers,and there was no hope of getting him elected to anything,so after failed attempts to make people think he was a lawyer (let go from two different Texas lawfirms) they bought him the land commissioner office,where he would be in a position to do a lot of favors for a lot of powerful people.
I THINK they have managed to find him a suitable blonde wife,but this one is more of a "shopping center beauty queen" than a "trophy wife". Still,like all the Bush men,he needed a keeper,and now he has one.
Do NOT believe the sudden political conversion to conservative. It's just a role he is playing to try to win elective office. Once he does,he will revert to being a Bush weasel again. He NEEDS to be elected this time because if he loses again it's over for him.
