California has activated the National Guard.

My wife called me into the other room, to watch local coverage station  of down town and faairfax district of LA.

I worked for a few days in Dec. near the downtown location, near LA city hall, Police Hq. etc.

Police sweeping the streets, after 8 PM curfew imposed.A police vehicle set on fire.

Some nicer areas, including Bev Hills.

My wife remarked they were all or mostly white people, under 30.

Some wearing masks, so convenient and prevents ID by CC cameras.

So far not as much fire and damage underway.

Mutual assistance working with nearby jurisdictions. Initially we only heard Los Angeles City plus LA Sherriif. But add to that cities of Santa Monica, Pasadena, Long Beach, Downey,  etc.

In 1992 the fires weren't even out, when politicos like Mad Max Waters were demanding money to rebuild to go to minority contractors.

Plenty of work for my brother again. He was on ABC in 1992 as the white contractor from the OC.

To be sure, he'll be all over this one, too. He is still ambitious and agressive.

Multiple videos appeared to show two police vehicles hit a group of protestors in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn around 8 p.m. Saturday.

No excuse.  But it seems in many citers, particularly those run by socialist liberals, the police are forced to focus on stupid stuff like arresting beauty salon owners while  required to keep their distance from crimes involving certain groups of people because -- hey -- we don't want to appear racist, homophobic or whatever.  I see that sort of *bleep*  in Pittsburgh, only Pittsburgh not only has an idiot socialist liberal for a mayor, but also the higher-ups in the police department as well. 

It's a bad time to be a policeman these days.  Can't do the job without someone looking over your shoulder criticizing every move you make.  I'm old enough to remember when the police in my little town were notorious for taking anyone they arrested -- even those accused of, say, shoplifting or public drunkenness -- to a vacant lot for a beating before bringing them to the station.  Those days are gone, thankfully, but now we have the opposite situation.  Can't arrest certain people or if you do, you have to handle them with kid gloves. 

And the politicians wonder why there is so much crime -- at least one murder every day in the big cities (in Chicago it's double digits).  The criminal element plies its trade because it knows it can get away with it.  I'm going to bet that most, if not all of the ones picked up during yesterday's riots will be back on the streets rioting again today.  Meanwhile, there will be no justice for the shop owner in Dallas who was killed or all the others who died, were injured or lost their businesses to lawless mobs allowed to do whatever the hell they want.

This "DEM" opportunity is not going to end well for the GOP nor Trump.  Not making light of what is happening, and certainly not making light of Floyd's death .... it's just that the DEMS never miss an opportunity.   The pandemic and now this.  This I'm afraid is just the very beginning.

The Dims are going to do their best to fan the flames and encourage rioting to try to save Slow Joe's election chances.

They still don't seem to understand that Trump isn't a career politician,and the old games no longer work. He's not afraid of siccing the alleged Justice Department on the heads of the people responsible for this,and I suspect that process has already started.

Take away the herd leaders,and the herd will get confused and just wander away.
