This is huge!  IMHO ... the WHO cannot be trusted .... and I feel that there is a possibility that this combo actually works -- we can't give Trump credit for advocating its use.  Nor globalist allow the U.S. to get back on its feet and prosper. What about the people that it has helped and not just in this country?  Again, it seems that they are leaving out the zinc and z-pack combinations.

The World Health Organization said it will temporarily halt global trials of hydroxychloroquine – the malaria drug President Trump said he was recently  taking to prevent the coronavirus infection – and chloroquine after a study showed that hospitalized coronavirus patients taking the drugs have a higher mortality rate.

The “temporary pause” will allow the agency's experts to review all available evidence to date concerning safety of the drugs when treating patients with COVID-19, WHO director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in remarks on Sunday.

"The Executive Group has implemented a temporary pause of the hydroxychloroquine arm within the Solidarity Trial while the data is reviewed by the Data Safety Monitoring Board," Tedros said.................

Now WHO is on board with the media narrative. To hell with the pandemic. Are they still allowing it for the other maladies its been used to treat for 60 years?

Since they are unwilling to include zinc sulfate in their trials, I agree with their decision to halt it.  If I contract SARS-2, I will request the hydroxychloroquine, and then have my wife bring me some zinc to go with it.

Meanwhile, hundreds, if not thousands, have died because of the stubbornness of those hell-bent and determined to discredit Trump.

Oh, B-freaking-S! Hydroxychloroquine was approved for use by the FDA in 1955. The drug's side-effects and safety are very well known. And the slightly more harsh basic chloroquine (approved by the FDA in 1944) is on WHO's own essential medicines list!
