Flags ordered at half-staff for Marine who died during training, officials say

CAMP LEJEUNE — Governor Roy Cooper has ordered that all United States and North Carolina flags will remain at half-staff through sunrise on Monday for in honor of a Marine who died during training last month.
Officials say PFC Tyler Cox was stationed at Camp Lejeune and assigned to a 3d Battalion 8th Marines as a 0311 rifleman. They say he died during training on April 29 in Jacksonville.
