Former Vice President Joe Biden's support among women is declining amid allegations of sexual assault and harassment.
According to a newly released survey from Morning Consult, Biden's favorability among women fell more than 6 points since mid-April, with only 44% viewing him favorably and 46% viewing him positively.
Overall, Morning Consult found the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee's net favorability dropped approximately 5 percentage points among all voters since the release of their last poll, which was conducted from April 20-26, a week before Biden personally acknowledged the allegations levied by Tara Reade, who was an aide to Biden in the early 1990s when he was a senator.
Despite Biden's declining support among women, he still holds an 8-point lead ahead of President Trump. The poll was conducted from May 4-10 among 27,754 registered voters and has a margin of error of plus or minus 1%.
