<snipit>
Uber Technologies Inc. is seeking to acquire GrubHub Inc. in an all-stock deal that would unite two of the biggest players in meal delivery at a time when the coronavirus pandemic has sparked a surge in demand for their services.

Look for more and more COVID-19 releated alliances, takeovers, and acquisitions to preserve and reallocate coprorate capital.  In a few years what business looks like may be signficantly differently.  Sadly, in most cases it won't be consumer-friendly.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Smart business move.

with or withour corona virus, these platforms have worked. Many drivers already do Uber plus Lyft (or a food delivery svc). IOW for it to wwork for drivers, multiple platforms have already proved to enable them to make enough money.
