@catfish1957

I guess you never notice how Cruz talks a good game,right up to the point he gets challenged and punks out?

He is clearly one of the smartest US Senators,even if that IS "praising with faint damns",but he has no stones. He will ALWAYS punk out.

I admit he has some shortcomings, but to have Briefers slam who might be the most conservative legislators in DC?  Damn right, I am going to challenge him.  Pete, why not provide us some of that legendary acidic tarts for  some of Legal American's idiotic posts?

This would all be taken care of if Myst would just let us throat punch posters who post their 6000 line long cut and paste “Gosh, I’d really like to give Trump a Lewinsky” posts

   Barbara Bush once made cupcakes for Ted Cruz, that's why @sneakypete dislikes him so much.

but

@catfish1957

I don't play favorites,and I haven't seen any idiotic posts from Legal American. Granted,I am not as big a fan of ANY politician as he is Trump,but he has the same right to be a Trump fan that you do to be a Cruz fan.

There’s a fine, subjective line between insult and truth.

For a while there I was missing the days of @Frank Cannon and his acerbic posting style. Though he’s no (loose) Cannon, @sneakypete seems to have filled his void quite nicely.

Love you, pete, don’t ever change.

There just ain't no fooling you,is there?

If there is anything Trump hates and fears, it is arguments and having to appear in public to counter them.

Good call!

Awe memories, brings back listening to 'They're Coming To Take Me Away' on my NuTone Am/Fm portable radio while riding my Schwinn Stingray. Actually I find that at times there is a distinct TOS feeling to the 'discussions'.

Slim Harpo should be numero uno! (Blues forever!)

(And you should check out a bunch of his Excello Records label mates for exquisite swamp blues---Lightnin' Slim, Lonesome Sundown, Silas Hogan, Lazy Lester . . . )

Speaking of spurious accusations.......

(Spurious) Accusations of bigotry and racism are the two major battleaxes of the liberal left, as you know very well @sneakypete .

I am merely pointing out your emulation thereof.

No sir.

A fair adjective used to describe your contrarian nature.   You're not fooling everyone here.

Easily as reject-able as @sneakypetes absurd notions, @DCPatriot

A contrarian nature is not bigoted in and of itself.

So, if Republicans are nervous about Trump sinking and taking the Senate with him,  are they not overjoyed over the huge amounts that the dim governors and mayors are asking for?  I imagine that the citizens of this country (that is the ones who read AND think) are more than ecstatic over the fact that idiots like deBlasio are asking to be paid off to the tune of $7.4 BILLION to get their lazy butts free from the pension paywagon?  How about the states that are asking for $10 BILLION to pay their workers?  THAT is fair and equitable, right? … right?    The demands for exorbitant payments to the states/politicians who cannot/will not pay their debts and must do without programs that they WANT (not need) are to be taken care of by the taxpayers, right?  …. right?  But yet, the NYT says that people are upset over Trump?      :thud:

Isn't it a bit of a coinkydink that what the libs had been hoping for (knowing that it would be the only thing that could defeat
Trump is exactly what is happening now?  And I should belief the NYT because …….?

Mouthwatering here .... I love pecan pie, and pumpkin.  I also love fruit pies; cherry, apple raspberry, apple crisp, strawberry rhubarb.  There are a couple of pies that I don't like; coconut cream and mincemeat.

As much as I love pie ... nothing beats a decadent dark chocolate ganache cake!

All the bad news about meat packing and processers, has me thinking T-Bones 24/7.

You talk about a bad mood, if I start seeing cancellations on my pickup meat orders.
