Joe Biden drifts off into incoherence in MSNBC softball interview, as wife Jill tries hard to look unconcerned

Do Democrats really believe that they can push to victory a presidential candidate who is incapable of one full minute of coherent discourse, even in a friendly environment? With more than half a year before Election Day, Joe Biden is rapidly mentally deteriorating, and it is increasingly sad watching him and his wife trying to cope with responsibilities that even in his salad days were beyond his capacity. (Remember when he plagiarized campaign speeches decades ago?)

Yesterday, his friends on MSNBC’s Morning Joe metaphorically threw him a softball and he fumbled it, and then kept dropping it, having it roll away, stumbling, tripping, and then just giving up… with a disturbing, off-kilter smiling face, as if he were about to play a third banjo in Deliverance.

No. Even Dims aren't THAT dim.

Slow Joe is just a placeholder,holding the spot open long enough that Bubbette! can graciously put her cloven hoof in the ring to replace him once he is declared incompetent to serve due to diminished mental capacity.

She is old,sick,and drunk,so the plan is to keep Joe in place as long as possible,and hope her entering to "save the day for democracy" will inspire the voter turnout.

Plus,she doesn't need any more photos of her published collapsing like a cow in  kill pen into a drunken stupor,and having to be picked up and placed in the limo by SS agents.

The longer she can put off doing any actual campaigning,the better off she is.

His choice of running mate weighs heavily on the final outcome.  The VP can provide a boost in polling, later fading to irrelevance as the election draws near ... but this time is different.  Biden experienced cognitive decline while he served under Obama.  He's too old, and I don't care what anybody says about age discrimination.

Have pity on all those Democrat voters who played by the rules.  They watched Sanders get kicked to the curb in 2016, but thought it would never happen again.  They will soon see, after the Iowa fiasco and all the crooked caucuses and primaries, that all their work and votes for Biden will get thrown down the toilet or into the burn bag and get destroyed—real soon.

But there’s something else wrong with Joe Biden.  He disappeared for awhile, he can’t read a teleprompter, he’s got some criminal “women’s issues” which he and his shrinking staff vehemently deny and will do so in court, and he has some sort of creeping dementia or senility, which cannot be overlooked.  Statements like these are floating out there in the aether which give pause - “We have to take care of the cure. That will make the problem worse no matter what — no matter what.”  “I’m looking forward to appointing the first African American woman to the United States Senate.”  Or, “My name is Joe Biden. We all know that there is something mentally wrong with former VP and presumptive DNC pick for president Joe Biden. What makes this disturbing, at least for me, is that no one around him seems to be want to stop the madness.

Specifically, it’s horrifying that his wife looks like she’s in on it.

I feel like the DNC is telling an old circus monkey far past its prime and in desperate need of retirement that it still has to perform center stage every night.  ...

I’m pretty disgusted by the way Jill, his wife, is allowing this to go on.

I realize not everyone agrees with me and that they’re abiding by Napoleon’s advice of never interrupting your enemy while they’re making a mistake, but I feel like the least we can do is call out Jill for allowing this abuse of her husband to continue. It’s on the DNC for putting this mentally ill old man in the arena, but Jill Biden definitely should receive the most derision for her unwillingness to guard her husband. ... More at RedState

IMNSHO,she is NOT "allowing this to go continue" as much as she is taking part in it because the reality of the situation is the same day Slow Joe is put out to pasture to graze with the other cattle is the very same day she stops drawing the big bucks for being a media consultant.

Joe Biden on Friday stumbled through an interview on his proposed response to the coronavirus pandemic.
