Alyssa Milano: Trump Should Turn His New York Hotels into Hospitals for Coronavirus Patients

Actress and left-wing activist Alyssa Milano is calling on President Donald Trump to convert his New York hotels into hospitals to treat coronavirus patients as the city continues to be overwhelmed by new cases of the illness.

The actress failed to note that the president only owns one hotel in New York City —  the Trump International Hotel & Tower. Still, her tweet has been “liked” by a number of Hollywood celebrities, including Don Cheadle, Lori Petty, and Michael McKean.

Milano wrote on Wednesday that President Trump’s hotels have the bed capacity that the city urgently needs to accommodate the growing number of sick.

Trump owns how many hotels in the US? And how many in NY in particular?

He should offer to turn them into hospitals until this pandemic is over. We need beds. He’s got ‘em.

The idea of commandeering hotels is valid - An excellent ad hoc facility... It would be better to get the infected out of the hospitals and into actual quarantine, rather than infecting hospitals which are needed for many other things. And hotels have the bones, easily converted for the task.

The problem with Tumpy's properties is access. Too hard to get to, too hard to contain.
SO while the idea is correct, Tump's offerings would not be suitable.

Better a free standing Holiday Inn, as an example, with typical space and parking that can be fenced off and controlled.

There are physical, access issues. Elevators, hallways, room doors, and the interiors of rooms would have to accommodate the passage and maneuvering of gurneys, hospital beds, and equipment.

I watch a lot of old movies from the thirties, forties, into the fifties. I like to look at the bios of the actors in the movies. One thing that struck me reading items about the personal lives of the actors and actresses.
Many of the leading ladies of those times were strong Republicans.
Which left me to wonder: what the h*ll happened?
The answer: feminist wackos in academia in the sixties onward swaying young female skulls full of mush.
