Biden says he will broadcast regular coronavirus briefings

Former Vice President Joe Biden said Sunday he will begin broadcasting regular briefings about the coronavirus pandemic from his home in Delaware, following criticism from some on the left that he’s been absent as the public health crisis has escalated.

During a tele-fundraiser on Sunday, a donor told Biden that he wanted to see the former vice president cut a more public profile when it comes to the government's coronavirus response.

“I would just love to see you more,” the donor told Biden. “Like, how do we get more of you and less of [President Trump] on our airwaves?”


Biden said that his campaign team is installing a “new high speed line” into his home and that they are turning a recreation room into a television studio so that he can broadcast from home at a time when government officials are asking people to stay indoors.

Biden said he expected to address voters from his home on Monday at 11:30 a.m. EST.

The only problem would be if Uncle Joe starts spewing his own opinion and what people should do and encourage people to ignore what Trump and his team of experts are telling them and do what he suggests.  Then we've got a problem. That is why I am asking if they can censure him due to a threat to national security? They (DEMS, Biden and Chinese) want the presidency; and right now Trump is attempting to make some headway to contain this.  If he's successful, then Biden loses.

The part of me that wants to remove all warning labels so Darwin can sort out all the stupid people, says let him speak, and if people do as he says they'll just die off.  Problem is, they'll take us good people with them.

I doubt he'd do something live with people asking questions. If he were to it would likely go south very fast.

The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee accused Trump and McConnell of pushing measures that favor big corporations over working Americans a day after Senate Democrats tanked a $1.6 trillion emergency relief package.

“Republicans refuse to increase Social Security at the same time, to forgive student loans, to take the necessary steps to stop evictions, ensure food and nutrition for vulnerable families,” Biden said. “Senator McConnell should immediately allow a bipartisan vote on aggressive measures to help small businesses, workers, communities.”

Why should Republicans increase Social Security because of this? Those recipients are far more secure financially than the average worker right now who's check went to zero.
