You've downplayed this virus, seemingly making statements only about some low death rate and little more.

Why post what we know that Taiwan notified WHO on this when one has downplayed the effect of the virus. Maybe not hypocrisy but close to it.

Coronavirus updates: US Navy battles growing outbreak on hospital ship

A growing number of crew members aboard the USNS Mercy hospital ship docked in Los Angeles have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

A total of seven medical treatment facility crew members have now been infected and are currently isolated off the ship, according to U.S. Navy Cmdr. John Face, a 3rd Fleet spokesman. The first positive case was confirmed on April 9.

Face said everyone who was considered to have been in close contact with the infected individuals remain in quarantine off the ship and have tested negative, with the exception of one crew member who was the fifth positive case.

Whatever you say, I didn't abandon the unborn because I didn't like a candidate, must be a real feather in one's hat.  Let's remember that, that's gold in facing any cheapshot artist.

Cuomo’s been calling daily, even hourly, begging for everything, most of which should have been the state’s responsibility, such as new hospitals, beds, ventilators, etc. I got it all done for him, and everyone else, and now he seems to want Independence! That won’t happen!

The figures, which cover every community death linked to Covid-19 in England and Wales, showed that a total of 406 such deaths registered up to 3 April had occurred outside of hospitals.

Of those extra deaths, 217 took place in care homes, 33 in hospices, 136 in private homes, three in other communal establishments and 17 elsewhere.

About 410,000 people live in 11,300 care homes for older people in the UK, supplied by 5,500 different providers.

The official count of coronavirus cases in Brazil does not reflect the ground reality, says a new study by researchers at a consortium of Brazilian universities and institutes. According to the study, the country possibly has 12 times more cases than the officially reported numbers.

Known as the Center for Health Operations and Intelligence, the consortium estimated that only 8 percent of the cases have been reported by authorities. This has led to a higher-than-expected death rate, indicating underreporting of cases.

I have one of the two people involved in this particular argument on Ignore for the duration of this pandemic because all he seems to be able to do is mock anyone who actually discusses the virus.....

There are some who keep pounding their point that Coronavirus deaths are actually deaths from other things, comorbidities and such......... and are also pointing to flu deaths as being larger in number than COVID deaths.  (Even though this virus is still very new and hasn't peaked yet).

My question is, are all those flu deaths from the flu, or from complications of the flu caused by other medical issues?  For instance, the flu often develops into pneumonia (as does COVID).  Are those deaths attributed to flu, or to pneumonia?   Do we know?  And isn't that relevant in an honest discussion?

The point is, without the flu, would those people still be alive?  And without COVID, would the people who died from comorbidities still be alive?

Let's hold off on the conspiracy theories until all the facts are in.   They won't be in a for a long time.

At that point, with a fair comparison with flu deaths, maybe the claim that the virus deaths are inflated may have some merit.....

But not until then.
