Most disconcerning, is that a week ago, we were told that maybe 2M would die, now it is 60,000. From my environmental and safety profession, I had to deal and use all kind of different models. I guarantee that I never saw that level of disparity in their use. I can just guess what look my plant manager would have given me if I would have told him that 10,000 would die from dispersion modeling, and then come back 10 minutes later and say none. Credibility is a helluva competency to waste.

In a year where upstream CAPEX in this area has been cut by over 50%, where oilfield jobs are evaporating like alcohol on a hot plate, where tariffs have reduced ag trade, where this COVID-19 shutdown has taken care of strangling most of the rest, where the hospitality industry is dead,
My glorious local tax man has decided my home is worth 47% more than last year, even with ZERO improvements, and they won't be holding the abatement hearings in person, but by phone, full steam(roller) ahead. A REMINDER THAT THE ONLY BUSINESS GOING FULL TILT IS THE GOVERNMENT, WHETHER YOU GET TO SAY JACK OR NOT.
