Pete Buttigieg is dropping out of the 2020 presidential primary race, a senior campaign aide told CNBC.

The Indiana Democrat waged an unlikely campaign that saw a little-known mayor overpower governors and U.S. senators in the race for the party nomination.

Along the way, Buttigieg assembled a substantial war chest and a vast national operation. A two-term mayor of South Bend, Indiana, Buttigieg was the first openly gay major presidential contender. He scored a narrow delegate edge over Sen. Bernie Sanders in the Iowa caucuses and finished a strong second place in New Hampshire’s primary.

You know, if a Democrat were to win, God forbid, Pete and some of these others may well be in the cabinet, the way Perry and Carson are now. They paved a bit of a future for themselves. They will fall in and support the nominee.

Stuff like this happening is the only thing that could thwart the party bigwig's plan to draft the Pantsuit Assassin. If there aren't enough candidates to spread the delegates around, someone might jus' win enough to secure the nomination on the first vote. Of course if it gets close to that, we might be seeing some mass Arkancides, 'cuz the Pantsuit Assassin is ENTITLED .

And IMHO, that stunt with the 9-year-old boy "coming out" probably helped sink Booty's campaign.  May have been a wakeup call to Christians that this is not the guy they want as president.

I'm surprised as well. Did they see something that bad in South Carolina (which Biden had in the bag for a long time) to think they didn't stand a chance? I mean, the guy was doing well in the delegate count.

This sounds like blackmail. I don't pretend to know for sure, but that's the look.

In a random world, yes.  But dnc is behind the scenes pulling strings for Biden.  Guy had 26 delegates going into Super Tuesday.  Like I said a few posts ago.  This whole thing looks suspicious.
