Roger Stone’s Request for a New Trial Will Indeed Be Heard by a Judge

Maybe that Presidential pardon won’t be necessary after all.

While we may be several months removed from the apparent end of the RussiaGate investigation, we are far from providing closure for everyone involved.

Roger Stone, who was convicted of lying to Congress during the Robert Mueller-led probe into a conspiracy theory involving the Kremlin and the Trump campaign, is currently set to serve 40-some months in jail for his crime.  This sentence was announced just days after President Trump publicly dissed the original sentencing structure that would have allowed for the judge in the case to sentence Stone to up to nine years in prison.

But Stone will not be going quietly into the night, which isn’t all that surprising if you know anything about Roger Stone.

The "Judge" that will hear the motion is the same one who lied from the bench that Stone "covered up" for Trump. She'll find she's been fair, and deny the motion.
For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death — if you’re unvaccinated — for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. Sloe Joe Biteme 12/16
I will NOT comply.
