First Muslim Police Chief in US City Sworn in with Hand on Quran

The city of Paterson in New Jersey, US has now a Muslim Turkish-American police chief.

Rabat – US has appointed a Muslim police chief for the city of Paterson, New Jersey, earlier this month.

Ibrahim “Mike” Baycora is the city of Paterson’s first Turkish-American and Muslim police chief, Anadolu Agency reported.

A video shows the security personnel putting his left hand on Quran to swear in during a ceremony at city hall has gone viral.

The 60-year old chief has been serving at Paterson’s police department for over three decades.

I have known a (very hard working)  local business owner, since the early 70s. He is Palestinian, Arab, muslim.

He served in combat in Vietnam as a Sargeant E5.

As long as he upholds the law as it was passed by the legislative bodies of federal, state an'  municipal authority in which he serves I would have no problem. However if he were to start imposing Sharia law, then he would have to be removed. An' tried, convicted, sentenced an' punished for treason to the full extent of the law.

Let’s see. The new Paterson, NJ police chief is a Muslim, a Turkish Muslim who was sworn into office on the Holy Quran, and followed by the recital of doa (a Muslim prayer).

Being sworn in on a quran effectively invalidates the oath of office he swore to uphold. In the Quran, Muslims swear allegiance to Allah’s law, NOT man-made laws such as the Constitution of the United States.
PJ Media Baycora’s swearing-in on the Quran presents a problem. The Quran calls for warfare against (2:191, 4:89, 8:39, 9:5, 9:73, 47:4, etc.) and subjugation of unbelievers (9:29), second-class status for women (4:3, 4:34), hatred of Jews (5:59-60, 5:82, etc.), and more.

It has been decades since Patterson or any other city in New Jersey has even resembled America.

How do you know his service was faithful,and not that he wasn't a AA hire from Day One that MUST be promoted?
