Death toll rises as violence continues for third day in Delhi

At least six civilians and a policeman killed as US President Donald Trump holds talks with PM Modi in Indian capital.

India's capital has seen a third day of violence as the death toll from Monday's clashes went up to at least seven, including a policeman, police told Al Jazeera.

Anil Mittal, a senior police officer, said approximately 150 people were injured in the violence that came as US President Donald Trump arrived on a two-day India trip.

Ummmmmm, what is the average murder rate in Delhi? IOW, is this Delhi's (sad) "normal"? Might this violence be organized by Rent-A-Mob Ltd.? Or is it really exceptional/spontaneous?

Just asking questions US MSM never will.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

BREAKING NEWS
US Embassy in India warns citizens to be cautious after New Delhi clashes
By REUTERS   FEBRUARY 26, 2020 15:57

The U.S. Embassy in New Delhi urged its citizens on Wednesday to be cautious after violent clashes broke out between Hindus and minority Muslims in parts of the city this week.

More at: https://www.jpost.com/Breaking-News/US-Embassy-in-India-warns-citizens-to-be-cautious-after-New-Delhi-clashes-618911

So, this, the images I've seen shows this is indeed, a serious situation.

https://twitter.com/search?q=%23DelhiRiots2020&src=trend_click&pt=1232666547304398856%2C1232624886570311680 <--- Lots here for the interested, some of it, it really is too graphic to post. Welcome to hell.

I've heard, that it may be in the state of Balochistan in Pakistan, I've read that it was once 20% Hindu maybe but those numbers shrank, shrank big, big time.

Plight of Hindus in Balochistan

Raza Baloch

Hindu community has always remained an integral part of Pakistan. After the partition of subcontinent majority of Hindu population migrated to India, while those who remained in Pakistan adjusted with Muslim population peacefully

Well, I question the above that it was just migration, it sounds like it might have been that Hindus fled because of the heavy-handedness of the Pakistani Muslims.

But a lot over there to watch.

And then, Kashmir is another flashpoint.

And on top of that, I'm not sure if the Sikhs who we have quite a few of in the USA, are treated that well under the Modi government.

Obviously, a complex situation over there and millions and millions of people there.

And that Mumbai Hotel terror attack was the worse.

Then, you have the Uighurs over in China.... it's all complex. They are portrayed as a docile people but that can't be totally so though, China may be acting excessively. I see Pompeo and Rubio condemn the treatment of the Muslim Uighurs.

2 movies have been made on the Hotel Mumbai attacks, one Indian film, the other, the Western version that showed in theaters here.

I'd urge one to go to youtube and see, most of the whole Indian made movie in scenes, I think about all of it is there. Maybe not directly related but still pertinent.

Tense but it sounds like a lull in violence thankfully.

India has an interesting history, I will post more from there. The violence hopefully has died down.

In the meantime, I didn't know that the assassination of Indira Gandhi was blamed on her Sikh bodyguards, no idea of that at all.

Assassination of Indira Gandhi
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quote
Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was assassinated at 9:29 a.m. on 31 October 1984 at her residence in Safdarjung Road, New Delhi.[1][2] She was killed by her Sikh bodyguards[3] Satwant Singh and Beant Singh in the aftermath of Operation Blue Star. Operation Bluestar was an Indian military operation carried out between 1 and 8 June 1984, ordered by Indira Gandhi to remove the Sikh militant leader Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and his armed followers from the buildings of the Harmandir Sahib complex in Amritsar, Punjab. The collateral damage included the death of many pilgrims, who were being used by the militants as a human shield in the temple, as well as damage to the Akal Takht.[4] The military action on the sacred temple was criticized by the Sikhs around the world.[5]

Assassination of Rajiv Gandhi
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The assassination of Rajiv Gandhi, former Prime Minister of India, occurred as a result of a suicide bombing in Sriperumbudur, Chennai, in Tamil Nadu, India on 21 May 1991.[1] At least 14 others, in addition to Rajiv Gandhi, were killed.[2] It was carried out by Thenmozhi Rajaratnam, also known as Dhanu,[3] member of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), a militant organization from Sri Lanka; at the time India had just ended its involvement, through the Indian Peace Keeping Force, in the Sri Lankan Civil War. Subsequent accusations of conspiracy have been addressed by two commissions of inquiry and have brought down at least one national government.[4][5]

If anyone missed it posted in the other thread, '9 Hours to Rama', a fictional account of the assassin of Mahatma Gandhi is pretty good.

So, yes, an interesting country to watch. Though, things may die down in New Delhi, it would not surprise me to somewhere see repercussions in the future.
