CNN analyst predicts Trump 'will destroy Michael Bloomberg' after 'god-awful' debate performance

A CNN political contributor didn't mince words after 2020 Democrat Michael Bloomberg's debut debate performance, calling the billionaire's first appearance "god-awful."

Network analyst Bakari Sellers blasted Bloomberg's lack of preparation for Wednesday's primary debate, pondered if he fired his debate preparation staff, and said President Trump would "destroy" the former New York City mayor if he is atop the Democratic ticket in November.

“Donald Trump will destroy Mike Bloomberg if last night is any example of what happens on a debate stage," Sellers told CNN's New Day with hosts Alisyn Camerota and John Berman on Thursday.

Bloomberg was attacked by each of the Democratic candidates who took turns criticizing the billionaire's record on stop and frisk as well as nondisclosure agreements he signed with women who accused him of sexual harassment. During one tense exchange with Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Bloomberg defended the NDA's, saying "some women didn’t like some jokes I told."

“The performance was god-awful,” said Sellers. “It’s amazing to see someone who has billions of dollars and all of these resources not spend any money on debate prep. Or if he did, he probably fired them all last night, even before the plane left Las Vegas.”

Bloomberg's polling numbers have risen sharply as he has spent in excess of $400 million to overload radio and TV airwaves with his advertisements.

I have to question how much money Sellers gets paid.  Bloomberg's debate performance was 100% predictable as was this startling revelation that Bloomberg would get destroyed by Trump.  Maybe if these leftist idiots would employ a bit of critical thinking instead of relying on emotional bent, they wouldn't  look like idiots.

I'll reckon that Short Stuff is probably so arrogant that he believed no "preparation" was even necessary... not for somebody of his position...
