If you are dumb enough to slobber over a socialist then you’re already inclined toward being a hapless mark, so it should be no surprise that you Bernie dorks are about to get screwed over again by the Democratic Party. Here’s how it’s going to go: Because you are stupid – you support a socialist, so you are presumptively stupid – you think that if you work really hard and win the votes the establishment creeps who own the Democratic Party are going to let you have a say. But, like last time, you won’t get a say. You’ll work real hard – maybe if you worked really hard at actual jobs you wouldn’t be half-wit socialists – and you’ll win the votes, and all your dreams will die as you end up with the nomination going to a malignant midget multi-zillionaire.


I don’t know exactly how they are going to do it – more convenient caucus kerfuffles, super-delegates, shenanigans at the convention – but there is no way your masters will ever let you win. Like I said, you’re socialists, and therefore stupid, so you will get cheated and you will end up having to vote for the Verne Troyer of American big-money politics.

And, like the obedient saps you are, you’ll do it.

Doomberg thought he'd waltz into the race and be greeted with acclaim by 90% of the faithful.
He is correct that the dweebs who run the party are scared of Sanders and want a better candidate to appeal to the great unwashed who aren't so fond of commies. The string pullers prefer Bloomberg.
They don't want Sanders not so much because of his socialist agenda, but more that he can't get elected.
I'm sure there is still a percentage of the party who are pro-capitalism (with STRICT!!! limits, of course), but many of them probably agree with many of Sanders socialist planks.
However,  if Sanders is the standard bearer next November, the Dems are looking at a McGovern-like disaster. The socialist base of the Dem Party is young and growing, but it's still not large enough to win prez elections.

Of course the string pullers like Bloomberg. They (the string-pullers) want the consolidation of power enough, but Socialist totalitarians seldom play well with others, especially when those others have money.

The fundamental calculation is that a Corporatist Global Totalitarian is a better bet for their aims, especially a rich one.

True. That holds with my belief that most Dems pulling the strings are more parasites/grifters than out and out socialists.
I doubt the Clintons and Obamas of the world want to destroy the goose that laid the golden egg. Much easier just "legally" stealing the money from the ignorati who climb over each other to buy their books and listen to them speak believing they champion the little people.
However, in Bernie Sanders and other commies like AOC, the Dem Party is actually turning into the socialist party conservatives have been claiming they were for the past fifty years.
