A Texas EquuSearch team in League City has suspended its initial search Saturday for a missing Iraq War veteran who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder.

Aaron Balaban, 36, was last seen Monday when he walked away from his parents leafy suburban home around 10:30 p.m. He was wearing jeans, a dark green puffy jacket and tennis shoes. A crew of 27 volunteers scanned a 1-mile radius on foot, ATV and in cars Saturday, according to David White, who headed the volunteer effort for EquuSearch. The volunteers are trained to enter woods, ravines, drainage canals and other hidden areas.
