AG Barr confirms DOJ is reviewing Ukraine info from Giuliani, would not say if FBI is investigating Bidens

Attorney General William Barr confirmed to reporters that information from President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani and others about Ukraine is being reviewed by the Justice Department.

Speaking with reporters at a press conference Monday, Barr responded to a question about information that Giuliani and others were reportedly forwarding to the DOJ.

“Senator Graham says that Rudy Giuliani will be providing the Department information related to Ukraine and the Bidens,” the reporter said, referring to South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham who told CBS News’ “Face the Nation” on Sunday that the DOJ has “created a process that Rudy could give information and they would see if it’s verified.”

“Rudy Giuliani is a well-known man,” the Senate Judiciary Committee chairman said.

“He’s a crime fighter. He’s loyal to the president. He’s a good lawyer,” he said, but added that the Justice Department needed to review any information “because it could be Russian propaganda.”
