Nigeria militants burn to death motorists as they sleep in their cars
Suspected militant Islamists have killed at least 30 people and abducted women and children in a raid in north-eastern Nigeria, officials say.
Most of the victims were travellers who were burnt to death while sleeping in their vehicles during an overnight stop, officials added
The attack took place in Auno town on a major highway in Borno State.

The article seems to say that since the Boko Haram "war" started, 35,000 killed. Terrible but BH started years ago, that means, Nigeria is by far, I believe less violent than Mexico, not to trivialize this by any means.
This happened in the North East state of Borno, that's where the lions-share of violence happens.
I've even heard stats that, not counting this terrorism, Nigeria is somewhat peaceful. It's that Muslim area where a heckuva lot of this violence occurs.
Not to say things unkempt, that's a Muslim area, Borno state and I hope Christians were not victims here.
