Border Patrol Arrests Alien from Dominican Republic Wanted for a Double Murder

AGUADILLA, Puerto Rico –Ramey Station Border Patrol agents arrested Monday an alien from the Dominican Republic wanted for a double murder.
On Jan. 29, an Air and Marine Operations (AMO) marine patrol aircraft detected a makeshift “yola†type vessel navigating east towards Puerto Rico. The AMO aircraft directed a US Coast Guard cutter to intercept finding thirty-seven (37) illegal aliens from the Dominican Republic, 31 males, 5 females and 1 juvenile.
On board the cutter, biometric review of the aliens revealed that six aliens had prior immigration and criminal records, being transported to the Mayaguez port of entry where Border Patrol Agents made the arrests.
