S.F. Police Union Slams New Progressive D.A., Says ‘It’s Open Season’ On Cops

The leader of a union representing San Francisco police officers recently blasted the newly-elected, progressive district attorney, claiming the city and county’s top prosecutor has given criminals a “green light” to attack cops.

The accusation came after D.A. Chesa Boudin, who was sworn in earlier this month, decided to withdraw criminal charges against a man who allegedly physically assaulted law enforcement in December, pending further investigation. The suspect, 24-year-old Jamaica Hampton, was shot three times by police officers during the altercation, sustaining critical injuries. He recently had his leg amputated as a result and remains hospitalized.

“Mr. Boudin has made it clear to criminals everywhere that you can violently attack a police officer and he’ll look the other way,” said Tony Montoya, president of the San Francisco Police Officers Association (SFPOA).

It was Kammy (Kamala Harris) who declared open season on police officers by refusing to seek the death penalty for killers of police officers. Boudin is just going a step farther.

This seems to be a trend, this election of far left prosecuting attorneys with no interest in prosecuting criminals. St. Louis County, Missouri (my former home) comes to mind. This really irks me, as a former assistant P.A. for that jurisdiction!

I suspect someone like Soros is behind these idiots' campaigns. After all, he funded the campaigns of fellow travelers running for secretaries of the various states a few years back, as seen in my home state of WV, i.e., Natalie Tennant, in an effort to screw up the elections process in those states.
