I don't separate the Dem elite from the average Dem voter.
Not all Dem voters are lunatics, but a much larger percentage of them are contrasted against Republican voters.
The great majority of Republican voters have lives outside of politics.
Which is why it's so difficult to get many conservatives out to protest.
But many Dem voters have no lives except for protesting, being on drugs, and being perpetually angry at the world.
Most of them are miserable and refuse to blame themselves.
So they must create villains...evil people who are making them miserable. Therefore, "evil Republicans" must be blamed for their self-inflicted miseries.
