If there is a desire and decision by the Senate to call Democratic witnesses, then at a minimum the Senate should allow President @realDonaldTrump
 to call all relevant witnesses he has requested.

 told John Bolton. We do not prosecute people for thoughts or words. Only for conduct.  Ukraine got aid but did not announce investigation. Nothing wrong there.

We already have strong and direct evidence that Trump withheld military aid to demand political investigations.

Bolton further corroborates it.

Senators have taken an oath to be impartial. Don’t they want to hear the full truth?

I always thought the better defense of Trump was that he did pressure Ukraine, which was a mistake, but that it didn't rise to the level of impeachment. Bolton's testimony, which is probably true, wouldn't have even scratched that defense.

Source familiar w/ conversations ongoing since the Bolton news broke tells me the White House is hearing from GOP senators who are frustrated that at least someone in the WH had the Bolton manuscript since the end of December and they were kept in the dark.

As you know, the objective isn't to change the outcome of the 'trial', it's to draw it out & wound Trump for November. Thanks to Romney, Collins, et al it looks like they're closer to succeeding.
