Planned Parenthood launches $45 million campaign to defeat Trump
'If they’ve got $45m laying around, why exactly do they need taxpayer dollars?'
Fri Jan 17, 2020 - 2:13 pm EST

January 17, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – The nation’s largest abortion chain launched its biggest election effort yet this week, devoting $45 million to the cause of ousting President Donald Trump and returning Congress and numerous state legislatures to full Democrat control.

The money will go towards “large-scale” multimedia advertising, mail, and on-the-ground canvassing focusing on Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, centered around the message that Republicans at the state and national levels are engaged in a “coordinated attack” on Roe v. Wade.

The Trump administration "has managed to undo so much over the last three years," Planned Parenthood Votes executive director Jenny Lawson told CBS News. "The fact that this summer the Supreme Court might gut Roe v. Wade is an indicator of their intention and they've never been so bold."

Over a three-year period, Planned Parenthood and its affiliates spent $288 million in federal funds. They also received $1.2 billion in funding from Medicaid, which combines federal and state funds.
That adds up to a whopping total of $1.5 billion in taxpayer funds from federal health programs.
Yet despite receiving billions in taxpayer funds over the course of three years, Planned Parenthood’s scope and services have both declined.

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
Well, if they have that kind of money around, how about they just get their Lamborghinis and leave the babies alone?

Yeah, Planned Parenthood campaigns against Trump, all of those name-calling clowns are on the same side as Planned Parenthood.

Don't let them bamboozle others, even Ted Cruz and more than once, has had to vote for budgets to get emergency funds to flooding victims.

There should be some fair analysis in this.

Those who only find fault with Trump on this issue, sure aren't pro-life *

The problem is with the onerous gobs stuffed in between (and on) the pages of omnibus funding bills.

It would be interesting to see what sort of things would fly through on the back of one of those bills to prevent the Government from being "shut down".

Something like a measure to fund pet collars for stray animals (because they shouldn't feel left out) would probably skate right through.

Want to bet on how many in Congress have actually read the whole thing?

They can raise all the money they want -- anyone watching last night's State of the Union when a very much alive (but sleepy), adorable little girl was introduced and it was announced she was born at 21 weeks, would have very little reason to support them.  @ 21 weeks she survived!  Abortions are still being done beyond that time period.

The DEMS are scared to death that if Trump is re-elected and he has the opportunity to appoint another justice that Roe v. Wade will be overturned.

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

"Rule by the courts, die by the courts."  They should be worried, and abortion is the canary in that coal mine.  A lot of their pet causes are supported by over-reaching court decisions, Roe v Wade is just one of them.
