The headline caught my eye, then I read the piece. All they are saying is it hasn't really struck Russia too terribly bad yet. So, I don't see how they can project that it could be so devastating.

One thing I'll say for the stats, it might have changed but over the weekend, deaths were something like 1% of all confirmed cases, that's a bit lower than we've been told, however, when deaths in the USA are now nearing 500, that's a fairly relative statement. There was even an article in the media, maybe Gateway Pundit mentioning this.

Look at this commie/lib Senator going after a patriot Senator just because he selfishly disregarded the Presidents 15 day guideline.  I don't want to live in an America where a US Senator can't mindlessly ignore that test results are pending.  What is this Russia?

It appears things are starting to work.

Rand Paul deserves to be shamed.  As does any other politician asking me to sacrifice while they do what they want, and ignore my President and this crisis.  FLICK RAND PAUL.  I hope Rand's positive test, and his upcoming isolation bring the fear of God into him and remind him of the little people who wipe up his germs.  I'm not saying he's a self centered isolationist pr*ck...much.

That depends on if Rand asked for a test because he thought he might be sick or if the testing is done on a regular basis for all the senators to minimize the risk of spread at the top levels of government.

If he thought he might be sick and asked for a test, your point is well taken. If this testing was part of a wider screening process then not so much.

Paul said he remains "asymptomatic" and said to his critics: “For those who want to criticize me for lack of quarantine, realize that if the rules on testing had been followed to a tee, I would never have been tested and would still be walking around the halls of the Capitol. The current guidelines would not have called for me to get tested nor quarantined.  It was my extra precaution, out of concern for my damaged lung, that led me to get tested.

"Perhaps it is too much to ask that we simply have compassion for our fellow Americans who are sick or fearful of becoming so. ... The broader the testing and the less finger-pointing we have, the better."

Thanks for the post @DB it is nice to know Senator Paul inflicted the virus upon countless because of his he knew he should have been tested anyways.  What a guy.
