Totally jealous. I love 888cryingkitty

HINT:  Two words.  First word is wet.

I will look into those accounts you mentioned.

I hardly integrate myself with twitter, meaning I hardly speak... I don't know twitter that well though, I've read a feed for 2 years and have been registered for six.

But as for experts, hearing what  Gordon Cheung or I'll stop right there, Larry Elder, I mean, you have quite a few voices available to listen to to shun it, I probably make an average of a few comments a week but I definitely read, these people link to articles, I often use these articles.

I haven't got into the negative aspects, if I read what one of my favorite Senators say, I'm not going to now, engage in all the people talking about it below, many, who seem involved in political activism, I rarely read it. Not enough time.

Orange County Bans All Public, Private Gatherings – Including Work – Outside Single Household

March 17, 2020 at 10:33 pm

SANTA ANA (CBSLA) –  Orange County officials Tuesday took unprecedented action by banning all public and private gathers beyond those of a single household as jurisdictions across the world grapple with the spread of coronavirus.

County health officer Dr. Nicole Quick issued the order effective immediately prohibiting “all public and private gatherings of any number of people, including at places of work, occurring outside a single household or living space.”

Idiots.

Of course these public gatherings will be exempt.

Same.  I read way more than I say, and I always remember...don't say anything that will get you fired 10 years from now, when everything you said will almost certainly be offensive to somebody.  I watched the Warriors last night.  It's a film from 1979 and I was reminded how common it was for everyone to use "faggot" as an insult.

I went ahead and followed all of those accounts but if I ever have to trim down accounts followed again, I might not be keeping all of them.

Title:
"86% of people with coronavirus are walking around undetected, study says"

Hmmmm....
Are these peoples' bodies in the process of "fighting off" the virus, even if they have no obvious symptoms?
At which point, they will be "free of" the virus, and no longer contagious to others...?

Or... will they continue to be "silent carriers", like Typhoid Mary...?

Their bodies would fight it off, provided that their immune system is triggered.  Once they find one, they can test for antibodies.

Good points, except the kids in college didn't get the memo.  Spring Break at Texas Beaches is booming.

As of tomorrow at 6:00 the beaches in my county in FL and the county south of here will be closed.  No more spring break partying on the beaches.

Libs want the exempt and feverishly hope the infestation hits them as it will spread like wild rabbits.

Then the number of deaths will soar and libs can claim 'Trump did this'.  And they get a twofer and rid themselves of pests in the neighborhood to boot.

And you know there will be plenty of crowded house parties.

Space, not quantity of people, is the key factor in reducing infection rates.

It probably won't "affect" them too badly.
The problem is, it WILL affect those with whom they come into contact.
But... they're kids.
How are you going to make them understand that?

We should seriously change our thinking about youth not being infected as that information is inaccurate:

Some children with coronavirus develop serious illnesses, study finds

Babies and preschoolers are at particularly high risk for developing serious symptoms when infected with coronavirus, a new study published online in the journal Pediatrics revealed Wednesday.

Although the percentage of severe cases in children are very small -- nearly 6 percent of the 2,143 cases of children under 18 years old that were reviewed -- those who developed serious illnesses experienced dire respiratory problems.

Researchers examined the cases of children across China that were reported to the Chinese Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as of Feb. 8 in connection with the virus.

A third of the cases tested positive for COVID-19 with laboratory testing, while the other cases are considered suspected patients based on the child’s symptoms, chest X-rays, blood tests and whether the child had been exposed to people with coronavirus.

About half of the children had mild symptoms, such as fever, fatigue, cough, congestion and possibly nausea or diarrhea. More than a third — about 39 percent — became moderately sick, and showed additional symptoms including pneumonia or lung problems revealed in CT scans, without obvious shortness of breath. About 4% had no symptoms at all.

The most severe symptoms existed in a small group of 125 children.

Thirteen of those children were listed in “critical” condition and were on the verge of respiratory or organ failure. The other children were classified as “severe” because they had dire respiratory problems.............

(apologies if this has already been posted)

https://www.connexionfrance.com/French-news/French-researcher-in-Marseille-posts-successful-Covid-19-coronavirus-drug-trial-results

A renowned research professor in France has reported successful results from a new treatment for Covid-19, with early tests suggesting it can stop the virus from being contagious in just six days.

Professor Didier Raoult from infection hospital l'Institut Hospitalo-Universitaire (IHU) Méditerranée Infection in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur), published a video explaining the trials on Monday March 16.

Professor Raoult is an infectious diseases specialist and head of the IHU Méditerranée Infection, who has been tasked by - and consulted by - the French government to research possible treatments of Covid-19.

He said that the first Covid-19 patients he had treated with the drug chloroquine had seen a rapid and effective speeding up of their healing process, and a sharp decrease in the amount of time they remained contagious.

More at URL above...

Something that is worth paying extra attention to:
US academic study concurs

A new academic study, published on Friday March 13 by US scientific researchers, also said that chloroquine appeared to be an effective treatment, and appears to align with the findings in France.

It said: “Use of chloroquine (tablets) is showing favorable outcomes in humans infected with Coronavirus including faster time to recovery and shorter hospital stay…

“Research shows that chloroquine also has strong potential as a prophylactic (preventative) measure against coronavirus in the lab, while we wait for a vaccine to be developed."
