@EdinVA

 It also shows up in his statement where he says something like "government exists to make people happy". Government exists to create the proper conditions to allow people to CREATE THEIR OWN HAPPINESS. They ain't your daddy.
@sneakypete
Speaker Gingrich talked about that... the US Department of Happiness.. lol

   I can't speak for the rest of those places,but it was refugees from California that polluted Denver when I was living there in the mid-70's.

Hey, at least these "refugees" had the good sense to get out.   My daughter, who recently married, just moved to downtown Frisco.

No, I am not pleased.

I bet in the Fillmore District it is not unusual to see a naked man chasing a woman through a dark alley with a butcher knife and a hard on out collecting for the Red Cross these days..

Nah. You're thinking of the Castro District. Except it would be a man dressed like a woman chasing another man wearing leather chaps with a giant rubber sex toy. I've seen it.

They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

That's right. Anyone who has spent any time at all in San Francisco has "seen a few things".
It might just be the most beautiful city in America, but it is run by the stupidest and most self-destructive people on the planet.

Gavin Newsom  @GavinNewsom

Unlike @realDonaldTrump
 â€” CA is putting REAL resources into addressing homelessness. Today we put forward $1 BILLION to get people off our streets and into the programs and services they need.
CA is treating homelessness like the emergency it is.

Typical socialist thinking.  Create a massive hellhole, then solve its problems by throwing piles of taxpayer money at them.

And guys like Newsom wonder why Californians are heading for the exits in droves.

@Jazzhead

"Not pleased"? I would be terrified.

Not much you can do about it,though. She is out of the "nest" now and has to make her own decisions,and to learn from them.

...

Use of the nickname "Frisco" while in Frisco is not advised.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.
