‘We’ll do it for half’: Comedian George Lopez takes Iran up on $80M reward to kill US President Trump

Hollywood has-been George Lopez thinks he can make some money … $40 million … by taking up Iran on their offer of a bounty on President Trump. In fact, he’s put them and the rest of the world on notice that he’s in, and will, in fact, do it for half of the amount the Islamic Republic is willing to pay.

Once upon a time, Lopez fancied himself an actor and comedian and he actually made a living on TV and in clubs doing stand-up.

It seems that it may not be paying the bills anymore and he is moving into a new career field … hitman, specializing in political assassination. It’s not clear what his qualifications are in that new field, but like many Hollywood has-beens, he’s proven to be able to kill off his own career with political idiocy.

Lopez posted to an Instagram thread started by “ChicanoWorldStar” that asked: “#Iranian authorities have put a bounty on American President Donald Trump’s head during the televised funeral of General #QasemSoleimani after he was assassinated last week. What are your thoughts?”

“We’ll do it for half,” wrote Lopez.

I read the article.  Below is what I thought would happen - bring it to our country for maximum hurt and proving they can get directly to us.  That action causes fear in the American population, much more so than a hit overseas.  Consider the below in quotes:

Iranian MP Abolfazl Aboutorabi threatened to take the offensive to America’s capital. “We can attack the White House itself, we can respond to them on the American soil,” he said according to the Iranian Labour News Agency. “We have the power, and God willing we will respond in an appropriate time.”
