2019’s Wackiest Analysis From the Hosts of The View

The hosts of ABC’s The View aren’t exactly known for their even-handed or rational political analysis. While each show is predictably filled with meltdowns over President Trump, sometimes a co-host will say something so bizarre it defies understanding. Here’s our top picks for wackiest analysis from the political talk show, this year:

1. Conservatives Don’t Understand Socialism

Pompous co-host Joy Behar boasted on two separate shows that the right didn’t understand what socialism was. On the February 6 show, she lectured,“I have to say the word Socialist is becoming a buzzword like liberal and feminist where the right wing is now taking that word and distorting it,” before snidely remarked to her co-host Abby Huntsman that she would “correct her” anytime she used the term, negatively. She added, “It's being bastardized, that word. Nobody really understands it!”
