Live Blog - Radio Free Europe, that's all we need to know... except... they probably do get SJW some times, honestly, I haven't seen that bias much but I really don't care if Russia doesn't have SSM, I don't want gays persecuted in Russia or Ukraine or England for that matter but I don't need to keep up with it.
Government-Funded Radio Free Europe Continues Its Anti-Trump Bias
by Tsarizm Staff October 21, 201802266
It is no secret that U.S. government-funded Radio Free Europe/Radio Free Europe (RFERL) has a certain bias towards the Left and the Soros agenda. This bias was on display today in an article over the Trump administration withdrawing from the 1987 INF treaty.
...
The network does some good work but their liberal, anti-American leanings need to be called out. So we are doing so.

Biases are almost everywhere.... but if, like the BBC, they get important stories up, that's what is important to me. I'm sure they show editorial biases sometimes.
Where I think bias is probably more evident is the "Voice of America", but I usually just read their straight-ahead stories.

What's Wrong with Radio Free Europe and Voice of America?
By Majid Mohammadi
Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty has a budget of more than 123 million dollars (2018), and its mission is to "report the news in 20 countries where a free press is banned by the government or not fully established." It should "provide what many people cannot get locally: uncensored news, responsible discussion, and open debate." Is this taxpayer money well spent in the last decade? Does this organization fulfill its mission? Unfortunately, the answer to both these questions is negative.
As an Iran expert who reviews Persian-language media every day, I want to report my take from the organization's Persian section (Radio Farda). VOA Persian (under the same mother institution, BBG) is as disastrous as Radio Farda.
To explain the waste and politicians' delusions regarding the efficiency of these two sections of the Congress-fnanced media system, I will focus on three criteria of free and professional media: 1) independence, 2) fact-based news broadcast and report, and 3) fair and balanced news and analysis. Radio Farda and VOA Persian have failed in all three categories.

$123 million is probably too much. But I wouldn't forget, a number of their reporters have been jailed and things like that. At least, recently with RFA.org (Radio Free Asia), one of the government broadcasters.
The quibble with Radio Free Europe is actually more with the Iranian offshoot,
Radio Farda if one reads the article.
