Joe Scarborough: GOP Could Be Doomed Forever After 2020

Buh-bye forever, Republicans! That's Joe Scarborough's prediction—or perhaps just his fondest wish. On today's Morning Joe, Scarborough predicted: "We may look back at 2020 as a last competitive election against the Republican and the Democratic Party." Scarborough asserted that "chances are very good that by 2024, because of demographic changes, Texas goes blue."

Scarborough adopts the patronizing view that people will vote their skin color instead of their interests; that voters of color will docilely remain on the Democrat plantation. If African American and Hispanic unemployment rates remain at historically low levels, as they have under President Trump, there's good reason to believe that a fair chunk of those voters will support Republican candidates.

Well, Scarborough may be right.

But I think he's going to have a bit of buyer's remorse on that one.  When the leftists have a majority, they won't have any interest in humoring anyone who does not agree with them lockstep.  And the agenda they'll push is going to leave a lot of folks like him regretting their votes.

Right now, I have to agree with Scarborough.  A lot is going to depend on if Trump is re-elected and what he and the GOP can accomplish in terms of securing the future of the party.

I can't discount Scarborough's prediction, either.

Demography is destiny.
And the democrat-communists have been intent on changing -- let me go so far as say "replacing" -- the "old" demographics of the country since the 1965 immigration "reform" act. Right now, they're succeeding.

And the replacements ARE NOT going to naturally lean towards the Republican side of things. Quite the contrary, we are importing them from parts of the world where the notion of limited self-government is nonexistent. And that, too, is "a part of the plan".

Mr. Trump won because he WAS NOT a "traditional" Republican. He was a one-of-a-kind candidate who jumped aboard a Republican horse, stole it and rode it to the presidency by associating himself with "the Republican brand".

No other Republican candidate could have won in 2016. Mr. Trump looks like he'll win again in 2020, but I predict that it will again be a "hard won" victory, not a landslide by any means. (I would happily eat those words on November 4th)

Right now, I see no one who can pick up the baton from Mr. Trump and run with it in 2024. Mike Pence? He would be like G.W.H. Bush following Reagan -- an inconsequential one-termer who would lose to the demo-commies in 2028.

If we don't "get the demographics under control" pretty quickly, none of this will matter. We're gonna be overwhelmed.

IMHO,"nonexistant" is not the proper word to use there.  I think a sentence that states something like "...we are importing them from parts of the world where the notion of limited self-government is nonexistent and undesirable."

The Islamic culture is populated with people who see being free as being undesirable. It goes against EVERYTHING that is the root of their culture. They wish to be slaves to their system,with no choices to be made and everything laid out for them by their masters.

They are natural slaves,just looking for the right master.

Since the very idea of slavery is an abomination to most Americans,they have no place here and should not be allowed to come here.

 Just because we have traditionally been an open and free country,that does NOT mean that we have to accept everybody. Nor should we accept just anybody.
