Lindsey Graham defended his decision to open an investigation into Hunter Biden amid calls from his longtime friend Joe Biden to drop it.

Graham, 64, announced that he intends to call Hunter Biden to testify about his high paying position on the board of Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian natural gas firm. The South Carolina senator was blasted by the elder Biden, 77, who said he was “embarrassed” on Graham’s behalf when he heard about the promised investigation.

While talking to reporters in South Carolina, Graham stood by his investigation and pushed back on Biden’s criticism.

“My conscious is clear, I love Joe Biden as a person, he is a really decent man. He's had a lot of tragedy in his life, but I have a conscious very clear right now, and I have a duty,” Graham said. “If the House is going to shut it down, the Senate is going to pick it up.”

I'm not so sure of that when it is his/her/whatever ego on the line. Threatening him or calling him names doesn't seem to me to be the way to get him to back off.

Now,if they start sucking up to him/her and bragging in public about what a fine Senator he/she has been,they might make some progress.

What *I* hope happens is Lady Lindsey gets steamed and goes all-out to get Hunter in prison,and this causes Slow Joe to go all-out to punish Lady Lindsey. Granted,it would be the equivalent of a midget going up against Hulk Hogan intellectually,but these two have known each other and been friendly for a LONG time,and who knows how much Slow Joe knows about Lady Lindsey? One thing we do know is that Joe Biden has the judgement of a retarded 7 year old. Chances are he would give evidence on himself before the dust would settle.

Win-Win for America.

We'll see...so far since the darkness of McCain no longer lurks, he's surprised me.  He has made comments that he likes Uncle Joe, but he's also commented that his son Hunter shouldn't be given a free pass.  My hunch is that holding Hunter responsible will also take down his pappy.  He can only tread water for so long.

I think that taking Slow Joe down to the point he faces criminal charges and leaves Congress might end up being a strategic mistake,though. It might be better in the long run to have that buffoon remain in Congress to highlight how corrupt and stupid the Dims really are.

With the Pelosi tong, the CBC crowd, Mad Maxine, and the likes of AOC, I'm not sure Buy-dem looks anything but more sane than the average Dem, and at least more even keeled than the rest of the more vocal component.

Well,he hasn't shown much because he was always in the shadow of "Big John" McLunatic,and wasn't allowed out of the shade.

He is a VERY bright guy,though. Anybody that goes against him and doesn't take him seriously is going to pay for that mistake.

Yeah, McCain had something on Linda and he is MUCH better now then when he was Johns' Butt boy. But for months he
was on Sunday Morning Futures (SMF) telling Maria about how he was going to do this or that and never did a damn
thing. Maria was starting to hold him accountable so I don't think we will see him on SMF for a while. He talks the talk
for sure, but can he walk the walk? So far not so much.

One thing Linda needs to do is change the rules for compelling (subpoena) a witness to testify. Not many know this but
in the Senate Judiciary Committee a subpoena can only be issued if both the Chair and the ranking member agree. So with
Sen Diane Feinstein being the ranking member no subpoenas will be issued. And meaningful investigations of Rat
corruption are going nowhere.

You would be surprised how many people do not know that, Sen Graham can change the rules with a simple vote, majority
wins. Stupid rules like the above are why investigations in the Senate are a waste of time. If the GOP keeps the Senate and
if Trump wins reelection I would expect the Senate to rewrite it's rules so it can effective fight the swamp for the benefit of
the American people.
