Let's not forget that Alcee was a federal judge in Florida that was caught taking bribes to throw trials in a sting operation,and forced to resign from the bench. Being black,he was allowed to plead guilty in exchange for no jail time or even probation at all,and 2 years later he ran for,and won,his congressional seat in Florida.

These days he has enough seniority he carries a Top Secret security clearance,and gets briefed on upcoming Top Secret military operations. Hey! If you can't trust a guy like Alcee,who CAN you trust,right? Here is a list of his committee assignments.

Not to worry. I am POSITIVE an honorable man like Alcee would never take a bribe to disclose classified information.

I lived in Fairbanks for several years back in the mid 70's ... what you state was very true.  Night starts around 3:00 p.m. -- and bitter cold --  but during summer you can actually watch the sun move across the horizon and come up again -- So summertime makes up for it.
