Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

The damned child boards are a pain-in-the-ass!

Move the music thread down with the adults (GENERAL Cat) and pin the SOB if you must.

The category keeps showing "new posts" by you (big surprise, huh) and there's the same post from over an hour ago (you're slipping)

Who gives a damn about "child boards" anyway?  Clearing the entire category as "read" shouldn't be necessary.

Through the pandemic and now all the turmoil with Russia and Ukraine, they are an absolute joy. Here is something that will absolutely cheer you up.

They continue to excel and they continue to make me smile.

Take a few minutes to listen to them -- I promise they'll cheer you up!  I loved this performance so much I watched it twice.  Enjoy!

My neighbor of almost 4 years loved Dolly, I use to scream across the fence 'Turn that $hit DOWN'.
She moved 80 miles South and much to my chagrin she was replaced with the TX State Trooper who whispers under her breath, 'I wish he wouldn't smoke that $hit' on his new deck.

Speaking of Dolly -- Kelly Clarkson belted out Dolly's song "I'll Always Love You" at the ACM awards as a surprise to Dolly.  No, I didn't watch the awards, I'm just a fan of Kelly's and happened to read the article.  Here's Kelly's rendition, and she definitely has a set of pipes!

I haven’t really been listening to music on the radio- I’ve been listening to News Radio stations.

Maybe I need a few good songs from an oldies (70s or 80s) station

It’s really hard to do that song justice. Kelly’s version was a nice mix of the original Dolly did and the remake Whitney did. Bravo!
