Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Pretty much any song written and played by Steve Winwood in it is a winner.

Journey - "Don’t Stop Believin’"

I really liked that song and I like the band. However, imho, this was one of those great songs that got over played and over used in tv and movies. Shame.

I saw Journey, REO Speedwagon, Ted Nugent and Styx about 8 years ago -- Rock 'n Roll Express.  It was absolutely fantastic -- 5th row floor seats!  (Yes indeed, that's why I have a hearing loss).
Anyways -- here's my fave Journey tune "After All These Years"

No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

Thanks.  Watching that really gives one an appreciation for how the Beatles dominated the popular music scene in the 1960s.

I can’t think of a better Fleetwood Mac song than this. Incredible heart-wrenching performance by Nicks.
