Ya really gotta give Chris credit for this one. Bi-Polar mental disease is a VERY serious problem and it goes mostly unreported, both BECAUSE it is a mental disease and nobody wants to admit to having it,and because it comes and goes.
@sneakypete Yeah, I know about it, but not to that degree... His depiction hit home with me... The song didn't hit me that way until tied to the vid... It is heartbreaking to watch your lover lose her sh*t... And that, over and over again. And no matter what you do, not a damn thing to do about it.
Chops also gotta go out to the director, and the main actor and actress who made it soooo freaking real.
That is part of what wrecked me so bad - My mind plays that same thing... mostly flashes of the good times in golden light... mixed with flashes of the bad - gray and dark... The vid is a masterpiece, as is the song - But for different reasons till you put them together...
An interesting part - Everyone thinks she 'finally did it', and there he is in the bar with the ring... but the closing scene is him, back on station, standing by her hospital bed. She lived through it, and there he is, back to take on some more.
It is so damn sad. Pointless. Real.
