U.S. Senators introduce resolution honoring Nick Buoniconti. Why this effort is rare
BY ARMANDO SALGUERO COLUMNIST NOVEMBER 07, 2019 08:15 AM

Nick Buoniconti was so impressive during his life that even after his death he could bring national political foes into agreement.

On Thursday, U.S. Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL), Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Rick Scott (R-FL), and Ed Markey (D-MA) are scheduled to introduce a resolution honoring the life of the late Miami Dolphins and Boston Patriots linebacker.
