That's like a defendant asking the cops to tell them who called the anonymous tip line.

No it's not.  A whistleblower, even a fake one, has no claim to anonymity.  The Whistleblower Act protects government workers from  retaliation, only.

No what is crazy is not identifying who the whistle blower is and not able to examine their supposed testimony. In essence, anyone can say that they have a whistle blower and provide bogus testimony.

If the "whistleblower" wants to remain anonymous, that's fine... but what can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.

So I'd rather have this "whistleblower" ignored.

Correct, and the Press has already started twisting the definitions to fit the Rat narrative, like "Quid pro Quo" is a bad thing now.  Trump took the bait by denying there was one, and is now trying to say what occurred was not a QpQ.

So the Libertarians who ran a Candidate for President who would have violated the Second Amendment now want to compromise the Sixth Amendment? Should the Libertrians just be honest and list all the constitutional rights they would compromise in what circumstances? Or maybe be even more honest by ceasing to use the name "Libertarian".

Eric Ciaramella isn't a whistleblower.  He's a leaker with ties to Joe Biden and Susan Rice.

This is why I hate libertarians.

They are supposedly about freedom of the press and the right to confront your accuser. Except for here, where Trump, a Republican, is involved.

Nothing the 'whistleblower' or the Dems have done during this process warrants anonymity, which is not proscribed under the law anyway.
