Once again for the slow blinkers and the TDS folks who know nothing about Kentucky Politics.

Donald Trump showing up in deep blue Lexington less than 24 hours before the polls opened did NOTHING either way for Matt Bevin.

He had already closed the double digit lead that Beshear had over him last month.

Right now the lead that Andy Beshear has is half a percentage point.  They are in a virtual tie at 49%.

Bevin has called for a recount or a "re-canvas" of the counties.  This isn't a Stacy Abrahams re do.  She lost by a 5 figure vote margin.


And trust me when I say if this were the other way around...you can bet your ass all the Progressives in the Commonwealth and all the outsiders rooting against Bevin would be demanding a run off or a recount.

Bottom line:  No auto-recount, even if the vote difference is <0.3%.

It doesn't matter.  Recounts always go Dem once they figured out they can rig it to always win.

They find lots of ballots in trunks of cars.......... just enough to make sure the Dem wins.

A re-canvass is a check of the vote count to ensure the results were added correctly.


The next step is to go before a judge and ask that a recount be granted.  If it is granted then it's overseen by the court and the judge of that court sets the rules.
