Framing Around ISIS Leader’s Death Turns To Trump’s Decision To Pull Troops From Syria

Some media used the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi as evidence that U.S. troops are needed in Syria.
Al-Baghdadi was killed Saturday evening during a two-hour-long military raid in Northern Syria.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo hit back at the reference, saying Monday that he has “enormous confidence†the U.S. can continue to gather intelligence without troops in the region.
