US promised to build beach resort in North Korea during nuclear talks
By Mary Kay Linge                     October 19, 2019

US negotiators dangled a Trumpian carrot before North Korean diplomats during nuclear talks two weeks ago: a promise to complete and expand a tourist resort that has been a favorite project of Kim Jong-un.

The American diplomats offered the development help in exchange for denuclearization, according to the South Korean newspaper Hankook Ibo.

The under-construction Kalma tourist area on North Korea’s east coast includes dozens of hotels, a shopping mall, and an indoor water park under a glass pyramid roof.

Is this for real?

I wondered the same, this seems to confirm this must have been real but this uses that same source... so, it is being reported but it sounds a bit far-out.:

US proposed helping North Korea build tourist area amid nuclear talks: report
By Marty Johnson - 10/19/19 09:33 AM EDT

...

South Korean newspaper Hankook Ilbo
reported Saturday that the U.S. proposed plans for developing the Kalma area, though it didn't say how the North Korean delegation responded to the proposal, according to Bloomberg.

Bloomberg noted that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has been trying to get a resort project completed in the Wonsan-Kalma coastal area for some time.

North Korean politician Pak Pong Ju reportedly visited the area in August to encourage workers to make the area “a scenic spot” on the east coast.

Trump should take over that hotel they never seem to be able to complete.

No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

The carrot held in front of Kim was one of opportunity, to have a seat at the world table and rebuild his country.

Part of this strategy was to bring Kim out of his cocoon and into the world --- to let him see, feel and taste what he's missing in NK; let him bask in the flash of world attention.  The promise of opportunity and investment from around the world was an underlying theme of the summit.

The US even created a film to Kim what North Korea could become.   I think Kim caught the bug, but his military did not.  I think Kim needs a booster shot and another couple of days with POTUS.   happy77

Here's the film:  "A New World Can Begin Today" ....

NoKo seems a bit far north to have a beach resort, but ... any beach resorts in Iceland?
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.
