Amash: Trump's Ukraine call a 'devastating indictment of the president'

Rep. Justin Amash (Mich.), an Independent who formally left the Republican Party earlier this year, said Wednesday that a memo of President Trump's conversation with the leader of Ukraine was a "devastating indictment" of the president.

"Again, it’s not just about a call, but even the call is a devastating indictment of the president," Amash, who previously argued that the controversy surrounding Trump was more so about his "continuing abuse of the office of the presidency," said on Twitter just moments after the White House released a memo of Trump's July 25 phone call with Ukrainian president Volodmyr Zelensky.

    Again, it’s not just about a call, but even the call is a devastating indictment of the president.

    Trump: We do a lot for Ukraine.

    Zelenskyy: We are almost ready to buy more Javelins from the United States for defense purposes.

    The other thing, there’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do…

Bill Handel, a big AM radio guy in LA, lawyer, lefty, found no quid pro quo.

BTW why is the media devoting 95% of attention to Trump,and almost nothing to Biden and his son?

1. Love his slogan, "Marginal legal advice". But yeah, nothing remotely resembling quid pro quo or arm-twisting or pressuring.
