A Florida-based cruise line will send a ship to the Bahamas with hurricane supplies and bring evacuees back to the U.S. after Hurricane Dorian hit the nation, killing at least 23 people.
The Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line will send its Grand Celebration vessel from the Port of Palm Beach Thursday night with food, water, supplies, first responders, volunteers and Bahamians who have been stuck in Florida, according to the Orlando Sentinel. It is expected to return Friday.
People from the Bahamas as well as volunteers and relief workers hoping to leave the islands can join the return trip for free if they have adequate documentation, according to the newspaper.
