Unscrew the one you have from the shower arm and remove the little disc with a hole in it.

Buy a Grohe or Hansgrohe shower head.  They are amazing and even when the water pressure is low here they feel like the old unrestricted shower heads.

Using mainly LED spots. Put recessed cans in 15 years ago,  and updated the lights fairly recently.

We did trial & error, until we found what we liked the best.

I love the ones I got.  I bought a Casablanca antique brass ceiling fan for our guest bedroom, and it came with the CFL bulbs...ugh.  I went to Home Despot and got Edison LED bulbs, and it makes the fan look like a million bucks, with that nice, warm light!

The color ain't the thing... I am an extreme example, but my light sensitivity makes me a canary in this particular coalmine.

LED light mimics the rays in sunlight that your body sees as daytime. That is why folks are not comfortable around them, and why I can never have them. Like 'night light' on computers - taking the blue hue out makes no difference... It will keep me awake anyway. I just won't get tired.

No, they really don't. Under incandescents I will eventually get tired... I can read in bed under an incandescent  for an hour or two and become tired. Under LED, I will read all night and never know it's night. It's hell on me as a computer tech. I obsess anyway when I am coding or have a complex problem, and it is all to easy for me to forget to shut the dang thing off - Monitors are LED after all. To include the TV.

It is best for me to switch to candle and lantern light after 10pm...

I've come to like the LED bulbs, now that they're getting cost-effective. $1 a bulb in some cases! Plus the light's not as bad as the CFL bulbs.

Especially since I hate using more electricity than I need to use on something. If I can light a room with a 6-watt LED the same as a 60-watt incandescent bulb does, I'm going to use that 6-watt LED.

I couldn't agree more. My desk lamp uses a 27 watt bulb,and it gives a bright light that lights the whole room. Plus they seem to last much longer and there is less fire danger if the lamp gets knocked over because they are no where near as hot as the older bulbs.

Plus,the whole "cheaper to use" thing doesn't hurt in an era when the electricity bills seem to keep getting bigger and bigger each year,despite me trying to cut back on the use of electricity. When you are retired on a fixed income,saving money where you can is important.

Makes some sense, as florescent does the same thing... In fact, florescent was recommended to wake me up better in the morning during the winter time.

And shop time is the same thing - If I am under florescent, I will work all night long... never even knowing night came and went.

I ran the ac in an 86 VW Rabbit on straight propane for several years without one single problem.

I still have a 3 gallon flush toilet and plan to keep it forever.   Much more efficient than the government mandated 1.5 jobs that you have to flush three times to get rid of everything.

You seriously need to check out the new toilets. The new 1.5 gallon toilets have so much suction the curtains blow when you flush the toilet. Seriously,they will flush a load that would have caused your old toilet to whimper in fear.
