Paul Ryan moving family to Washington
By Jessica Campisi - 08/20/19 07:55 AM EDT

Former GOP Speaker Paul Ryan and his family are moving from Wisconsin to a suburb of Washington, D.C.

Ryan, who hails from Janesville, Wis., and his family will temporarily rent a house in Maryland while still spending time in their home state, an aide told Politico. Ryan’s hometown residence isn’t being sold, according to Politico.

The move will bring Ryan, who retired from Congress last year, and his family closer to his wife’s family, which lives near the nation’s capital, the news outlet noted.

Evidently, the wife's mom, or both mom and father, is/are elderly and need their help.  This is family helping family.

Just be honest about it, Paul - all those years on Capitol Hill are finally gonna pay off.

Quite frankly I don't care where Lyin' Ryan moves to as long as he doesn't run for any political office.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

His tax lawyer/lobbyist wife nailed it down for him I'm sure.

"The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Janna Little Ryan's mom died years ago and left a lot of money to her, so Ryan's family is very well off.

This might be a 'family helping family' thing, but since she is well-connected lawyer and a long-term lobbyist for many interests, it is more likely a move designed to working the special interests from a closer distance.

As to Paul, who knows, maybe he likes the cocktail circuit.
