Trump says 'you have no choice but to vote for me' at New Hampshire rally
By Justin Wise - 08/15/19 08:18 PM EDT

President Trump said at a campaign rally on Thursday Americans "have no choice" but to vote for him, warning that "everything" would be "down the tubes" if he does not win reelection in 2020.

The president made the statement while hailing the economy's performance during his tenure in the White House, claiming that the U.S. had the best economy in the world right now. He later predicted that the markets would crash if he were to lose the 2020 election to the Democratic presidential nominee.

"The bottom line is, I know you like me, and this room is a love fest, I know that, but you have no choice but to vote for me, because your 401(k)'s down the tubes, everything's gonna be down the tubes," Trump said while speaking in Manchester, N.H.

Interesting what the Hill chose to take from that rally.

I will vote for the US Senator seat and try to get Sharice Davids removed from my district, but I’m not voting for that SOB.
I disagree.  Circle gets the square.

Trump is full of himself.  He's talking third and fourth term too.  He's like a bad headache.  Hard to get rid of and extremely painful.

Everyone familiar with me knows I am no fan of Trump, and wrote in someone in back in 2016. But this time he is right. Knowing the next president will select RBG replacement we MUST not help any of the Democrats win giving that selection to them.

Obviously, he’s trolling about the additional terms. There’s no way the 22nd amendment is getting changed for him.

Sat and listened to a good portion of the rally.  There is no debating that he gives an absolutely fantastic rally and is able to connect with his voting base.  Just my opinion here (for what its worth); he's preaching to his choir, over and over again.  Yes he is keeping his base energized.  The problem that I foresee, is he needs to be able to capture votes beyond his base or he will loose.

Trump believing that we have no choice but to vote for him is obviously narcissistic and is going to be his downfall, I believe.  He's bolstered the economy and drastically cut unemployment; but unless those who didn't vote for him before recognize that, he probably won't get their vote.  Those that he has disappointed on his failure to build a wall, curb amnesty, curb asylum as promised, he likely will not get their vote. Those that were hoping that he would get the deficit under control (as promised) will likely not vote for him.  Most importantly, he needs to realize that there are conservatives who will not vote for him if he surrenders our rights under the 2nd, 5th and 14th amendments!  He needs to realize that failing on all of these issues doesn't make him a whole lot different than those running with a socialist agenda.  BOTH will be dismantling the Constitution and destroying our Republic.

What made America Great is our Constitution, including the Bill of Rights.  Without them we will lose our Republic to socialism.  That by the way was another promise that he made; we will never be a socialist country.  President Donald J. Trump truly needs to think about what he is saying vs. what he is doing.  In one breath he says he is all for red flag laws and his daughter Ivanka is working towards gun control; completely stomping on the 2A, 5A and 14A. But then says he pro second amendment.  What about the crisis at the border?  Where's the wall?

What he does between now and next November is critical.  He needs to realize, that "no" we don't have to vote for him, he needs to EARN those votes!

I declare b.s.  Not going to happen, besides, DJT is 73 years old. If he is re-elected he will end his 2nd term at 77.  We can all do the math -- he's got a mountain of energy, but he's no spring chicken.

Ah, but there is no guarantee that RBG will pass away within the next term.  Odds are not in her favor, but nonetheless, there is no guarantee.

Another thing to consider; certainly the next justice matters but only to an extent. If he stomps on the 2nd, 5th and 14th amendments  it will be just a matter of time before the left collapses our Republic.  At that time, the SCOTUS will become irrelevant.

DO keep in mind RBG and others of her status have the best of the best for medical care. There are no guarantees whatsoever.

I liked Creepy Joe the other day.  He said illegal immigrants need to get to the back of the line.  Democrats may have not liked it, but Joe I liked that comment.

Trump isnt that much different than creepy Joe.  Creepy Joe, Creepy Trump.  We already survived Biden during Obama.  I think I could sit out 4 more until someone can put a Conservative forward.

Yeah - Seems to me it is Creepy Joe that is playing to the middle...Rule of thumb, Democrats win when they can play to the right of the Republican. With Tumpy on the job, that ain't hard to do. And that's exactly where Creepy Joe is.

Frankly, I haven't watched FOX in a while. Have they gone as far left as they seemed to be heading toward when i quit?
That is a fairly small section of an arena, and just as CNN might show the "crowd" channeled into limited seating with a tight shot, FOX might be showing a section closed off or otherwise deemed unsuitable for occupation by the crowd or arena management. I'd much rather see a better view of available seating in the whole place.

There appears to be a much greater density of folks for the available seats in the lower level, but the whole superimposed ad/crawl track/title bar thingy covers that nicely. If I had a dollar for every time the media have used such tricks to present some nonsense instead of the truth, I could buy my own island and a jet to fly me there and back daily.

Trump did not fill the arena in New Hampshire.

There must have been a reason for not filling that section @rustynail because these folks stood outside and watched the rally.  I'm sure they would have loved a seat, even in the nosebleed section

MANCHESTER, New Hampshire — President Donald Trump announced Thursday evening that his re-election campaign rally at the SNHU Arena broke the stadium’s previous attendance record, held by rock star Elton John.

The SNHU Arena holds nearly 12,000 people, and was nearly filled to capacity when the U.S. Secret Service closed the doors. Thousands more people watched the president’s speech on giant television screens outside the arena.

Yup.  Notice @austingirl none of this wasn't the headline:

Talking now about closing mental institutions .... and how the mentally ill are out on the street.  Talking about building new facilities.

I'm sure there's code as to how many people are allowed in the room/building.  Just because there are some empty seats doesn't mean the arena isn't full.

And how many times have I expressed the same sentiment here?

Don't give us any of that "...there's not an ounce of difference between them",   bullsh*t.

Country goes right down the tubes if he loses in 2020.  And the stock and bond markets?  Yikes!!

All you need are a few yards of 'crime scene tape' and signs that say 'wet paint' and you, too, can have an empty section to zoom in on.

Unlike a concert or sports, Security will close the doors of an arena during any political event when the crowd reaches the maximum number of people security feels they can safely monitor and control. As was pointed out, there were hundreds outside who wanted in but were denied entry.

Which begs the question of why FOX zoomed on the empty section?
