We'll get The Wall, a Supreme Court pick and maybe Greenland too. I love it. Best modern President ever.

Have at it - red flag laws, universal registration and all. Y'all deserve it.
Let's see just how much debt this country can take, right?

Yeah y'all go on ahead. Just don't call it conservative, because it ain't. Not by a long damn way.

How shall we define "The Wall"? 500 miles? 1000 miles? So far, I think about 50 miles have been constructed.

The southern border is about 2000 miles. It's unrealistic to expect 100% coverage given the geography. Barricades along 1000 miles will give the Border Patrol much more leverage to do their job, as it will to discourage illegal immigrants.

Well with your way we get "The Green New Deal", Medicare for All, a ban with a mandatory buy back on Semi-Auto rifles/hand guns and a war on White people. So yeah, I'll take Trump any day.

BTW, I think Ronald Reagan would stand in awe of President Trump.

Debatable.

I'm not sure Reagan could have gotten over Trump's mannerisms.

The Secure Fence Act was voted in favor of by BOTH parties and signed by 'W' back in 2006 -- it was never fully funded and if memory serves correctly about 700 miles of fencing was erected here an there.

It is NOT unrealistic to expect that some form of barrier protect the entire border.

The problem has never been about approval (since both parties agreed to a fence) but $$$.  Trump now has the $$,and he has always had the authority to defend our borders --- he just hasn't done it because of convenient excuses, especially since he had a full majority for 2 years.  My books, there is no excuse.  There is no excuse that he signed a bill allowing states to opt out. There is no excuse that he offered up amnesty.

Now he's contemplating adding red flag laws. Neither equates to him being re-electable.

He claims to be Mr. 2A himself, he needs to prove it.  Otherwise, he WILL lose in 2020.  No doubt in my mind.

I'm not sure Reagan could have gotten over his continual backpedaling and not doing as he says.  As the old saying goes, it's one thing to talk the talk but quite another to walk the walk.

Trump still has time.

It's not like he doesn't want to. Trump doesn't have the power he'd need to get it all done by himself. You're expecting the impossible from him.

Classy.  Very classy.  Get that from your horse?

BTW, I think Ronald Reagan would stand in awe of President Trump.  POTUS has, to date, survived a coup attempt, revived our economy, brought the vital importance of sovereignty to the national consciousness, rebuilt our military, used EOs to cut welfare and social program abuse, barred organization making referrals for abortion from receiving federal family planning money, got NATO to cough up their rightful dues, moved the capital of Israel to Jerusalem, appointed 179 federal judges to the bench, taken care of our Veterans [...]

All done while fighting the socialists and liberal justices with one hand tied behind his back.

The student has exceeded the master.

Well stated.

Facts are facts.

On substance, i.e. accomplishments, Trump is rivaling Reagan.

...and hasn’t even begun his second term yet.  Let that sink in. :yowsa:

No I am not expecting the impossible from him.  I AM though expecting him to do as he promises; otherwise, he needs to keep his mouth shut and quit with the threats.

How can you say that, with his propensity to change his mind depending on who talks to him last?

I prefer to say it's "our republic."

So do I, but now that I've mentioned it you're going to notice that "our democracy" is one of their recent must-use phrases.

@Right_in_Virginia yes he has and I have given him credit.  However, without a wall and enforcement of our existing immigration laws, with the thousands continuing to pour over our border, the sovereignty of our country is in jeopardy.

IF he goes through with the red flag laws which do infringe on our 2nd, 5th and 14th amendments, he will in essence be handing over our rights to the leftists.  So everything that he has accomplished will be for naught.  That's the sad part.

Over estimate?  It's called, not knowing what authority you do and do not have.  In this case and others, it's also Trump allowing his narcissism to shine through.

If his knowledge of the Constitution was as sharply honed as his narcissism, he'd be a great President.

Yeah, that's because he's not a politician. It's a big part of why I'm going to vote for him.

Knowledge, respect and adherence to the Constitution he'd be one of the greatest President's this country has ever had.  It really is a shame that he didn't name Ted as his VP.  I firmly believe the two of them together would have been quite a duo to reckon with.

39 years ago, I was a staunch advocate for Reagan against Carter, explaining to my German friends and neighbors why Reagan should be elected President. I laid out the case for Reagan entirely in their language.

I cannot make the same case today for Trump, in any language. The only plausible argument that can be made is that he's not a Democrat.

The economy continues to hum along, thanks to trillions of dollars in deficit spending. Border security is debatable, and mixed messages continue to be broadcast from the President's Twitter account.

The best argument for Trump is that his Democrat opponent would be worse?

Which was the same argument in 2016.
AG William Barr: "I'm recused from that matter because one of the law firms that represented Epstein long ago was a firm that I subsequently joined for a period of time."

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

Yeah, that's because he's not a politician. It's a big part of why I'm going to vote for him.

???? He is the President and he should be well aware of what authority he does and does not have under the Constitution period.  It has nothing to do with him being or not being a politician.

As the President of the United States he should know what rights "we the people" have under the Constitution period. As a supposed conservative, he should respect those rights.

Again, all are entitled to their opinions.
Reading many posts enumerating Trumpets achievements,
brought to mind the Manchurian Candidate; as it's apparent
he has secretly established several brainwashing institutions.
